What inspired me this week?

This is your life. I have been a long time fan of Holstee. This week I wrote and sent a few cards to friends, family, and business connections. I used one of my favorite cards with the Holstee manifesto on it. Isn’t it a good one? Share your passion, and live your dream.

What unexpected thing did I do this week?

Pass on some happiness - Another brilliant business we partner with regularly with our clients over at Norsu Haus, is Compendium. This week I’ve been carrying a pack of inspirational mini cards around with me and leaving them behind in restaurants, giving them to someone who served me in a store, or leaving one in the back of a cab. The unexpected surprise of finding a little message that brightens your day felt like something I wanted to pass on. So that’s what I’ve been doing all week!

What new online service am I currently trying?

Misfits Market - This 2019 startup based in Philadelphia is helping to find homes for all the organic fruit and vegetables that are rejected from grocery stores. Surplus produce that are odd shapes, too small - or oversized - to make the cut. Sure, some of the produce are a bit unusual in size or looks, but at a great price, and still tasty it’s a welcome box of healthy goodness. As a friend of Birch Cove, you can snag 25% off your first box - give it whirl, click here.

What caught my eye this week?

Magazine Focus - Standing in the queue (or line for my American friends) at my local supermarket, I was struck with just how many publications now focus on well-being, healthy food, mindfulness, and happiness. The need is ever growing for us all to find ways of how to navigate the stresses of life. We see this with our clients too. Businesses are focusing more intently, and strategically, on how to help their employees, teams and clients achieve balance, contentment, and how to feel supported and connected. We’re uncovering new ways of creating this as part of instilling thoughtful cultures. Do get in touch with us if you’d like to talk more about your business culture, contact us.
